Mobile effluent treatment solution to boost the capacity of the existing plant

A world class sugar industrial, based in France and in several other countries (Brazil, Romania, Indonesia, etc.), has asked CTP environnement to design and set up a mobile solution to treat effluents from production campaigns (beet base).

To find the best technical and most cost-effective solution, CTP environnement experts have studied through a pilot unit the performance achievable, the cost, the time and the infrastructure requirements. CTP environnement has therefore designed a mobile processing solution, easy to implement, allowing to:

• Treat 50 m³ / hour (220 gpm) of effluents with high organic pollution load
• Set up in a predefined and very limited area of 70 m (229 ft) side triangle (CTP mobile units are versatile and offer low footprint)

• Treatment of carbonaceous pollution using 2 biological reactors with continuous aeration: > 99 % of COD and BOD5 (up to 3 tons of COD treated / day
• Complementary biological sludge clarification achieved using the Aeromobil® unit: > 99.9 % TSS caught up
• Full compliance with environmental discharge standards
• High reliability with > 98 % availability of CTP mobile unit over the overall duration of the project (12 months)
