Reference: Cleaning of an air cooler at a waste incineration plant

A site processing 600,000 tonnes of waste per year engaged CTP environment UK to clean its air cooler condenser, consisting of twelve motors with an A-frame structure.

Previous cleanings had been carried out during shutdowns using a wet process. The results were inconsistent, with partial cleaning that left residual deposits within the tube bundles. [...]

The results show a significant improvement in the air condenser’s performance (over 20%), despite less favorable conditions (increase in ambient temperature). After the cleaning, the air condenser operates closer to its original performance levels than after previous cleanings.
