The clogging threat
The frequently used fuels like heavy fuel, or coal, generate unburnt residues because of an incomplete combustion. They create a deposit layer that covers the heat exchange surfaces and leads to a significant drop in the thermal efficiency of the apparatus.
The corrosive derivatives contained in these deposits (vanadium pentoxide, sodium salts, sulphur derivatives) represent an important risk for the metallic surfaces because they decrease their mechanical strength and therefore can cause extremely expensive damages.
The Neutrol® process
The offline cleaning process with Neutrol® is an efficient solution to restore the thermal efficiency and neutralise the exchange surfaces in order to increase their life span.
The process applies to industrial heaters or boilers (refineries, petrochemical industries, waste heat boilers, fossil fuel power plants, district heating, paper mills or sugar refineries)
Results
Neutrol® is used to remove efficiently the hardest deposits and to passivate the exchange surfaces thanks to its alkaline formulation.
The Neutrol® cleaning process features :
- a high cleaning efficiency
- a biodegradable formulation
- no EEC classification for transport or storage
- a corrosion inhibition of the metallic surfaces
We provide with a protection of the refractory lining during the treatment as well as the recovery and the treatment of the liquid wastes.
